S-15700 Manifesto Destiny
- Suleiman class Scout/Courier (100 dtons)
- Captain = Lady Sheba Anastasia Antoinette Lao
- Owner = IISS (Detached)
- Age = 42 years
Lady Sheba Anastasia Antoinette Lao has mustered out of the Scout Service on Mertactor/District 268 after 16 years. In recognition she has granted possession of a surplus Type S on a detached basis. After examining the Manifesto Destiny she wonders who she has upset. Externally the hull has a white upper side, a light grey underside and a black nose section. Two yellow kill markings have been placed next to the ship's name and registry number. The airlock, iris valves and cargo hatch are red. The airlock takes twice as long as normal to cycle and has an (allegedly authentic) Terran horseshoe welded to inside. Graffiti scratched on bulkheads all seats on the bridge are tattered, stained and patched the pilot's seat is a different colour and design to the others (originally belonging to a Serpent Class) and wobbles slightly sensor/computer operator's seat locked into reclined position consoles scuffed, dented and discoloured with pieces of crewing gum stuck to it internal comm system has a weird echo audio system in Common Room can't be switched from MAXIMUM volume the walls in the common room are painted an unpleasant shade of green, mostly obscured by thousands of different stickers advertising products, services and events from across six sectors. Hatch to air raft bay is buckled; taking an effort to open or close. The air/raft itself is absent for reasons which have never been satisfactorily explained. The landing struts produce a fingernails-down-the-blackboard noise throughout the ship when been lowered or raised. The Drive room is more cramped than normal as the Jump drive has been replaced with an unusual configuration one. The cargo bay is FULL of cobwebs and desiccated spideron corpses. Using the shower in either of the aft staterooms causes the all the lights on the bridge and engineering to flicker. Using both of them together kills ALL the lights on the ship. A triple turret has a fitted but is armed with only a single pulse laser. Inside it has an odour which isn't quite masked by numerous air fresheners, while the seat has a hand embroidered cover which is quite frayed by wear.
