Geronemo is the startown that has grown up around Yori’s primary starport Geronemo Field. The population is 156,000. Most of the town is housing and facilities for the starport’s personnel, but the town centre (called Stanley Village) holds an assortment of hotels, bars, and some shops.

Banks

	Advantage Small branch of a planetary bank. The Advantage Bank specialises in the business traveller. Credit is easier to obtain than from other local banks, but late payment penalties are very stiff. All the larger hotels and businesses accept Advantage payment cards.
	Trust Bank Small branch of a planetary bank. The Trust Bank is a popular bank offering excellent rates. Most of the larger and medium-sized hotels and businesses accept Trust Bank payment cards. Many smaller companies, too.

	Geronemo Center Hotel An upper-middle-class hotel targeting business executives. It offers a range of conference facilities and other business services. Cr100-Cr750 per night
	Golden Sands Hotel A glitzy middle-class hotel with delusions of grandeur. This hotel tries to appeal to flashy young playboy nobles, but many of its customers are those to whom wealth has come only recently. Cr250-Cr1,000 per night
	Imperial Travel Lodge A middle-class hotel, part of a chain operated by Tukera Lines. Plain but predictable. Cr35-Cr75 per night
	Quiet Night Hotel Cheap and cheerful hotel. Cr20-Cr35 per night
	Stanley Arms Hotel Small, privately-owned hotel. Simple facilities only suggest a low-class hotel but the extreme pride and efficiency of the staff make it popular with middle-class patrons. Cr25-Cr50 per night
	The Bay Hotel Centrally located hotel near the monorail station. Facilities include a high-tech entertainment centre on the ground floor that is popular with locals and tourists alike. Cr35-Cr100 per night
	The Green Tree Inn A basic middle-class inn operated by Omnilodge. As ubiquitous in the Spinward Marches as scout/couriers. ++++ Cr50-Cr100 per night
	The Lindam Estate An upper-class hotel, conservative and discrete. Understated quality. Cr250-Cr1,000 per night
	The Odyssey Hotel Formerly a middle or even upper-class hotel, the Odyssey has seen better days. Lacking many standard facilities this half-empty hotel’s patrons are a mix of eccentric locals and riff-raff. Cr10-Cr50 per night

	Astroburger The most ubiquitous sight of any Imperial startown, specialising in take away/eat in fast food (reconstituted protein burgers).
	August Moon An upmarket oriental-style cafe.
	Bar One A brightly lit and upbeat bar.
	Carmel’s An upmarket restaurant run by a husband and wife team who moved here from Regina. Joseph Carmel is an excellent gourmet chef, whilst Eideth Carmel is a competent business manager.
	Chi A fancy restaurant run by the over-the-top flamboyant character known to all simply as Maurice.
	Cubby’s A downmarket but friendly sports bar/cafe.
	Mai Lin’s Pie Shoppe Cheap cafe and take away fast-food, specialising in factory-made pies and pastries.
	Tamara Upmarket and discrete restaurant.
	The Bell A gentleman’s club (open to any race and gender). To become a member, one must have SOC 9+ and be sponsored by an existing member.
	The Dragon A very exclusive restaurant. Superior food for powerful business types. Unsubstantiated rumours of connections to organised crime. Security personnel for the restaurant are frequently charged with weapons violations.
	The Happy Friar A ubiquitous take away fast food outlet specialising in deep-fried foods (fish and chips, battered chicken, deep-fried candy bars, etc.).
	The Rat Barrel A small take away fast food outlet specialising in burgers and other meat products made from farmed rodents. Also dispenses beer.
	The Rib Shack A tiny, yet popular, one-man take away fast-food outlet specialising in BBQ spare ribs and chips. Open all night.
	The Shades Every startown has a spacer’s bar ... cheap booze, cheap decor, poorly lit ... a dive where shady deals are made. Geronemo has two, and this one tends to attract merchants.
